If you happen to have heard and have been dying to go to  music festivals such as Coachella, Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Splendour in the Grass and Optimus Alive! but definitely short on the dead presidents on paper side (yes I am talking about Money) dry your tears, Volume Unit Entertainment (VUE) is giving us our well deserved first ever music festival we can call our own - the Manila Music Festival.

Happening this coming May 1, 2012, here are the headliners of the festival which will surely delight the goers.

Main Stage:

International Acts:
Shinichi Osawa (Mondo Grosso, Japan), Ali Shaheed Muhammad (A Tribe Called Quest, NYC) and The “Amen Ra of the Universal Hip Hop Culture” himself, Afrika Bambaataa (Zulu Nation, NYC)

Local Acts:
Razorback, Kjwan, Wilabaliw, SinoSiKat, Lady U and June Marieezy

Redbull Stage:

Noodles, Katsunami, Angelo Mendez, Skratchmark, Liquid A, Kishore, Kristian Hernandez and DJ Complex

The festival will take place at the Alphaland Bay City at Aseana Avenue, Parañaque.

Tickets: Php 1,500 available at and Php 2,000 available at the event gate
